Tóm tắt: The first trading week after the Tet holiday marks the impressive growth from the stock market. The VN-Index has increased for 5 consecutive days with the total increase of 28.7 points (7.69%) to 401.7, while the HNX-Index gained 3.4 points in total (5.82%) up to 61.8 points. Trading volume also improved, showing that the cash flow started paying attention to market. Investors’ sentiment was also more optimistic although sometimes the tension between the supply and demand power remained quite strong. Foreign investors’ performance this week was very positive with net buying moves continuously across the two floors, especially in the last week session with a net purchase of approximately 11.7 billion on HNX and 290 billion on HSX. In particular, the blue-chip stocks which appeared on the VN30 index list were paid a special attention. We believe that the positive trend of the net purchase from foreign investors can be seen as a significant fulcrum for the market to keep rallying in the near future. The reversal in the last week session has taken place somewhat earlier than generally expected, however a medium adjustment is needed for the market to maintain its upturn momentum in the future. Although still appreciate the ability of rallying on the market, we still have not found a really solid fulcrum from the macro context, so we think the strategy of patiently waiting to "pick" stocks gradually at low prices is still higher appreciated than rushing to buying at high prices.
