Tóm tắt: • The general trend of the market this week is going flat. However, in term of the index, the 2 indices have moved in opposite directions. For the whole week, the VN-Index gained 5 points (+1.21%) to 418.2 points, while the HNX-Index lost 0.5 points (-0.72%) to 68.9 points • Foreigners were net buyers on the both bourses this week with a total net value reached 113 billion dong on the HSX and 5.5 billion on the HNX • In this week, the market has received some negative information as gasoline prices increase by 900 dong / litter and HSBC announced Vietnam PMI continued to decline to 43, 6 points in July from 46.6 points in June. However, we assessed this information just only impact on the very short-term market sentiment, and can not decide the main trend of the market • Weakening liquidity is quite worrisome at this stage. Even in some sessions, the liquidity seems to increase back but this has been shown just a short-term technical reaction. For the overall week, the liquidity performance has been showing investor sentiment is very cautious • With the current situation, if there is still no supportive information appear, the market will tend to go flat or falling slightly more than rally. From the technical aspect, the two indicators can possiblly return to the previous lows (405 points for the VN-Index and 68 points for the HNX-Index). Therefore, we believe investors should maintain a low share ration during this period.
