Introduction

An Pha Petroleum Group Joint Stock Company, formerly An Pha S.G. Petrol Joint Stock Company, is a Vietnam-based distributor of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The Company merchandises and distributes LPG for household and industrial usage. It is also involved in the offering of marine transportation and storage services of LPG and petroleum, as well as the production of LPG cylinders. The Company also installs petroleum storage tanks, repairs marine vessels and leases specialized equipment for the petroleum sector. During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2010, 95.7% of the Company's revenue came from the sale of LPG. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had five subsidiaries and two affiliates.

An Pha S.G. Petrol JSC was formerly known as Gia Dinh Service and Trading Co., Ltd, which was established in April 1999 to trade domestic and industrial gas
In April 2004 when the market underwent great changes, under pressure of the need to develop, An Pha S.G Petrol was established to aim at investing and managing the complete system of importing, storing and transporting LPG for the strategic partners and domestic LPG trading companies with trademark Gia dinh Gas®.
In Apr 2005 An Pha Hanoi JSC was founded in Hanoi to run the storage in the North.
In Mar 2007 An Pha Hanoi JSC acquired the shares and owned 99% of Gia Dinh Service and Trading Co., Ltd and trademark Gia dinh Gas® (HCMC)
In Mar 2007, the company became a public company.
In Apr 2007, the company acquired the shares and owned 51% of Minh Thong LPG Production and Trading Co., Ltd and the trademark JP Gas.
In Apr 2007, Anpha – EL JSC was founded to carry out the key hydroelectric power projects in Son La, Cao Bang provinces with the ownership of 55%.
In May 2007, the company acquired the shares and owned 60% of Gia Dinh Gas Co., Ltd and the trademark Gia dinh Gas® (Hanoi)
In June 2007, Anpha – Tay Nguyen Petrol JSC was established to acquire Hoang Minh Private Company and the trademark Dakgas with 55% ownership
In Sep 2007 the company signed the Agreement on Investment and Strategic Cooperation with Sojitz Petroleum Co. Pte. Ltd and Vietnam-Japan Growth Fund L.P. by transferring 5,5% company’s shares.
In 10/2007 the company signed the Investment Agreement to transfer 10% shares to BIDV. It also signed with SK Security (Korea) to transfer 8% shares in the form of Investment Agreement.
On Feb 01, 2008, the company's shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Sock Exchange.
Its charter capital was adjusted to 228.300.000.000 on June 15, 2009.
