Introduction

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company, together with its subsidiaries, engages in agriculture business in Vietnam, Laos, and internationally. The company operates through seven segments: Real Estate, Production, Trading and Services, Construction, Power, Mining, and Agriculture. It is involved in breeding and trading dairy cows and cows for meat; development of apartments, trade centers, and office buildings for sale and lease; development and operation of hydropower plants; and operation of hotels and resorts. The company also engages in sport and entertainment activities; and the provision of warehousing and mechanical services. In addition, it produces and trades in cattle foods, fertilizers, pipes, and other tools and supplies; manages properties; trades in goods; constructs airports and cow barns; exploits and sells iron ores; plants rubber, sugarcane, palm oil, and other trees; and processes and trades in rubber latex, rubber wood, sugar, and palm oil. Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Pleiku City, Vietnam.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company was previously known Hoang Anh Private Enterprise, which was established in 2003. In the same year, interior and outdoors wood-processing factory was launched.
In 2002, Granite processing factory and interior wooden processing factory were launched.
In 2004, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Resort in Qui Nhon was put into operation.
In 2005, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Resort in Da Lat was put into operation.
In 2006, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hoel Pleiku was put into operation. Hoang Anh Private Enterprise switched its operation to the model of a joint stock company and renamed itself to Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company with initial charter capital of VND 296 billion.
In 2007, Hoang Anh Gia Lai SAFOMEC office building was put into operation. Hoang Anh Quy Nhon Company, Hoang Anh Sai Gon Company and Hoang Anh Housing Trading Joint Stock Company were merged into Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company. HAGL Hotel Plaza Da Nang was launched.
In 2008, the company signed strategic co-operative agreement with Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank). On Dec 22, 2008, the company’s shares were listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
In 2009, its charter capital was VND 2.704,65 billion.
In 2010, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 3.115,2 billion.
By Mar 31, 2011, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 4.6722,8 billion via issuing bonus shares.
In 2012, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 5.373,71 billion via paying dividend by shares.
In 2013, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 7,1816 billions.
On Aug 27, 2014, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 7.899.679.470.000.
