Huu Lien Asia Corporation manufactures and sells steel products in Vietnam. It offers square, rectangular, thick welded, and D steel pipes; square, oval, round, and D galvanized steel pipes; and round steel tubes. The company also provides round, square, rectangular, and oval stainless steel pipes; and round, ovan, and D stainless steel tubes. In addition, it offers steel plates, cold rolled and hot rolled steel sheets, cold rolled and hot rolled steel coils, and HR strips; galvanized and color coated steel sheets; and beams and girders steel. The company’s products are used in the construction, and interior and exterior decoration fields. It also exports its products to Cambodia, Australia, Eastern Europe, and internationally. Huu Lien Asia Corporation has strategic partnerships with Sacombank and Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam. The company was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

HLA Corporation was originally known as a production business which was established in 1978 and made bike/motorbike spare parts. Within two year, production was expanded and Huu Lien Private Enterprise was established.
On Apr 04, 1992, Huu Lien Private Enterprise became Huu Lien Private Company and expanded its business scope. It can be considered the pioneer company in producing steel pipe of industrial scale.
On Apr 20, 2001, the company officially operated as a joint stock company with initial charter capital of VND 5 billion and 9 founding shareholders.
In 2002, Huu Lien A Chau Joint Sock Company increased its charter capital to VND 30 billion.
In 2003, charter capital was adjusted to VND 60 billion.
In 2004, charter capital was adjusted to 100 billion.
In 2006, charter capital was adjusted to VND 140 billion.
In 2007, the company signed strategic agreements with 6 strategic partners in real estate, banking and finance fields to raise VND 50 billion for production. Also, the company expanded its activities in other fields, such as real estate, financial investment. In the same year, Minh Huu Lien Joint Sock was established, with 61,54% of capital contribution come from Huu Lien A Chau JSC.
On Oct 30, 2008, the company’s shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
According to business registration No 4103000385 adjusted for the 9th time in May 28, 2009, the company's English name was changed to Huu Lien Asia Corporation (or HLA CORP in short).
By Aug 31, 2010, the company’s charter capital was VND 228 billion.
