Introduction
Ha Tien 1 Cement Joint Stock Company is a Vietnam-based construction material manufacturer. The Company primarily manufactures, markets, and distributes cement, clinker and other construction materials, including sand, stone and other cement manufacturing supplies. It is also involved in mineral mining, logistics of bulk, and real estate development and operations. Its main products are Portland cement blended (PCB) cement, block and paving bricks, mortar and laboratory sand. The Company is a subsidiary of Vietnam National Cement Corporation.

History
- Ha Tien 2 Cement Joint Stock Company was originally known as Ha Tien Cement Factory, which was buit in 1960 and put into operation in 1964.
- In 1981, Ha Tien Cement Factory was divided into Kien Luong Cement Factory and Thu Duc Cement Factory.
- In 1983, Kien Luong Cement Factory and Thu Duc Cement Factory were merged to form the Kien Giang Union Cement Factory.
- In 1993, Ha Tien Union Cement Factory was separated into Ha Tien 1 Cement Factory and Ha Tien 2 Cement Factory.
- On Sep 30, 1993, Ha Tien 1 Cement Factory was renamed to Ha Tien 1 Cement Company according to Decision No 441/BXD-RCLD of the Ministry of Construction.
- In 1995, Ha Tien 1 Cement Company joined Vietnam Concrete Mixture Joint Venture (SPMV).
- On Jan 21, 2000, the Transport unit of Ha Tien 1 Cement Company was equitized and became Ha Tien Transportation Joint Stock Company.
- On Feb 06, 2007, Ha Tien 1 Cement Company was officially transformed into Ha Tien 1 Cement Joint Stock Company.
- On Nov 13, 2007, the company’s shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
- On Jul 13, 2009, the company issued additional shares to adjust its charter capital to VND 1.100 billion.
- On Nov 12, 2009, the company’s head office was moved to: 360 Ben Chuong Duong Street, Cau Kho Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- On Dec 29, 2009, the Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting has approved the merger of Ha Tien 2 Cement Joint Stock Company into Ha Tien 1 Cement Joint Stock Company, making a new milestone of the company’s development.
- In 2010, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 1.980.000.000.000.
- In 2013, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 3.180.000.000.000 via individual offering of shares.
