Introduction

Innovative Technology Development Corporation is a Vietnam-based company engaged in the provision of business services. The Company offers Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS), specifically automatic road toll collection solutions for traffic infrastructure developers. It is involved in the provision of Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system, Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system and highway speed control solutions. The Company also manages parking lots and tunnels, as well as provides printing solutions, including printing machine trading and repair. It develops and manages electric systems, refrigeration systems and communication systems. In addition, the Company distributes software, electronic and electric equipment and supplies, as well as provides various consulting services.

The precursor of Tien Phong Innovative Technology Development Corporation was the Center for Application of Technologies, Informatics and Control (CATIC), which was established in 199 4 by a group of lecturers from the University of Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic.
In 1996, Global Electrical Engineering Company Limited was established to provide solutions on lighting prevention in the domestic market. Tan Tien Automation Technology Co., Ltd was established and became the first dealer of Siemens AG (Germany) in the field of automation in Vietnam.
In 1997, Sieu Tinh Informatics Company Limited was established for information and technology applications in restaurant, hotel and supermarket management.
In 1999, IDT Investment and High-tech Development Company was established to manage investment capital of member companies and separate trading business with research activities of CATIC. In the same year, Thach Anh Electrical Engineering Company Limited was established and operated in the fields of electricity and engineering.
In Apr 2001, ITD Investment and High-Tech Development Company Limited was renamed to Tien Phong Technology Joint Stock Company.
In 2004, Thien Van Technology Company Limited was found for technology and information applications in airline and airport.
In 2005, all member companies were equitized.
In 2006, the trade department of ITD was separated to form Tin Thong Technology Joint Stock Company. Its main business activities were providing solutions for telecommunication and automatic identification.
In 2007, ITD contributed capital in the establishment of Mua Xuan Online Payment Joint Stock Company, which specialized in solutions for online payment in Vietnam. On Jun 25, 2007, ITD officially became a public company with charter capital of VND 48.792.710.000.
In 2008, ITD joined hand with Vina Capital fund to establish Toan Cau Infrastructure Investment Company Limited, which specialized in building and leasing technological infrastructure in telecommunication. Also, Tien Phong Software Company Limited was set up to provide solutions and trade software for ITD Corp’s projects. In the same year, Tien Phong Joint Sock Company acquired Viet Son Investment and Trade Joint Stock Company.
In 2009, ITD co-operated with Nam Thai Son Import Export Company to establish Thai Son Tien Phong, which specializes in printing services with technical support from Toppan Forms Company (Japan).
On Dec 04, 2009, the company’s shares were officially listed on UpCom.
By Dec 31, 2010, the company’s charter capital was VND 116.103.990.000.
On Jan 2012, the company issued shares to pay dividend, thus increasing its charter capital to VND 127.711.950.000.
On Sep 15, 2015, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 153.249.760.000.
