Introduction

Saigon Securities Incorporation (SSI) was established with an initial charter capital of VND 6 billion.
On Apr 05, 2000, SSI was granted License for Securities Business Operation by the State Securities Commission with two main business activities: securities brokerage and investment advisory.
In Feb 2001, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 9 billion.
In Jul 2001, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 20 billion. By that time, the company had 4 main business activities: Investment advisory, brokerage, propriety trading and securities depository services.
On Jul 09, 2002, SSI launched its Ha Noi branch.
In Apr 2004, SSI increaed its charter capital to VND 23 billion.
In Feb 2005, charter capital was adjusted to VND 26 billion. By that time, it had 5 main business activities: advisory, brokerage, propriety trading and securities depository and investment portfolio investment services.
In Jun, 2005, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 52 billiob and added securities underwriting service to its business line.
In Feb 2006, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 120 billion.
In May 2005, SSI’s charter capital was adjusted to VND 300 billion, making SSI the security company with largest capital scales at that time.
In Sep 2006, charter capital was adjusted to VND 500 billion.
In Nov 2006, SSI completed its issuance of convertible bonds with VND 500 billion in face value.
On Dec 15, 2006, the company’s shares were officially traded at Ha Noi Security Trading Center.
In Jul 2007, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 799.999.170.000.
In Au 2007, SSI Fund Management Company was granted operational license by the State Security Commission.
In Sep 2007, SSI issued additional 555.600 convertible bonds (of VND 55,600 billion in value) for ANZ Bank, its strategic shareholder.
On Oct 29, 2007, the company’s shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
In Mar 2008, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 1.199.998.710.000.
In Apr 2008, SSI increased its charter capital to VND 1.366.666.710.000.
In Mar 2013, Sai Gon Securities Incorporation announced increasing its charter capital to VND3,537,949,420,000
On Oct 23, 2015, the company increased its charter capital to VND 4.800.636.840.000.
