Introduction

Formerly known as Vegetable Warehouse Factory, Vegetexco Port Joint-Stock Company was founded based on the merging of Construction Management Committee of Ho Chi Minh and other departments of Vegetable Import & Export Company 3. It was later renamed to Vegetable Warehouse Company and then to Vegetexco Port Joint-Stock Company in 2001. Main operations: Ports, mooring buoys; warehouse services, office leasing; serve as seed agency, seafood and agricultural products; machineries and consumer products; loading/unloading services, packaging of import/export goods, vessel agency and marine intermediates; direct import & export of vegetables, fruits, plants, seeds, spices, seafood and agrifood, handcrafted products, consumer products, machineries and accessories, chemicals, transportation vehicles; Invest in residential and industrial constructions; involved in housing business, real estate agencies; construction of civil and industrial projects; tour business; processing of seafood and agricultural products (not at headquarters); purchase and resell of timber. Vegetable and Agrifood General Company owns the controlling stake of the company.

The company is a forerunner of the Enterprise logistics Vegetexco under the General Corporation Vegetables Vietnam.
It was established in 1991 based on the merger of the Management Board of the City area. Ho Chi Minh City and some departments of the Corporation Import and Export Vegetables 3, Ho Chi Minh.
On August 10, 1996, Enterprise Freight Forwarders Fruit Vegetable Company moved Freight Forwarders Vegetables.
Since 1997, to serve the expanding business, the company invested to build three terminals and extended 60m pontoon wharf, to invest in cold storage and added a dry warehouse and 2100 m2 site was more a mechanical means such as forklifts, cranes car.
In 2001, the Company Freight Forwarders Vegetables conducting equitization and moved into Port Corporation Fruit and Vegetable official activities in the form of company shares from May 25, 2001. This is the first port of equitization in the port system area of Ho Chi Minh City.
On 29/11/2006, Securities Commission Chairman of the State license number 88/UBCK-GPNY Listing for Port Corporation Vegetables listed shares on the HCMC STC.
On June 18, 2010, its charter capital reached VND 82.146.920.000.
