  • On Arp 19, 1976, Dry Cell and Battery Company was established by the General Department of Chemical Products (now known as Vietnam National Chemical Corporation) on the basic of nationalizing a number of factories.
  • In 1986, the company invested in more machines and equipment as well as changing its management methods. Therefore, its productivity was greatly improved.
  • The company was re-established under Vietnam National Chemical Corporation following Decision No 304/QD-TCNSDT dated May 25, 1993 of the Ministry of Heavy Industry (now known as the Ministry of Industry).
  • It became Dry Cell and Storage Battery Joint Stock Company following Decision No. 53/2004/QDD-BCN dated Jun 2, 2004 of the Minister of Industry.
  • On Dec 12, 2006, the company’s shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
