It operates through the Supply and Installation Services, Sale of Goods, Property Leasing and Services, Power, and Water segments. The company operates as mechanical and electrical engineering contractor for MVAC systems, electrical systems, ELV and BMS systems, and fire protection systems, as well as for plumbing, drainage, and sanitary systems. It also provides shop drawing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning, training, maintenance, and after sales services. In addition, the company manufactures, assembles, and markets consumer and commercial air conditioners, RMV systems, replacement components, switchboards, MSB, ATS, DB, MMC, and air diffusers and air ducts, as well as AHU, FCU, and PAU under the Reetech brand name. Further, it is involved in the investment, development, management, and leasing of real estate properties comprising office buildings, information technology centers, apartments, and industrial parks. Additionally, the company has financial investments in power, water, coal, and real estate sectors; and engages in clean water treatment plant, trading and logistics, and water supply activities. Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation was established back in 1977 under the name of state-owned Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Factory.
In 1993, the enterprise was equitized and became a joint stock company.
On Jul 18, 2000, the company’s shares were listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, making it among two first listed companies. At that time, the company’s charter capital was VND 150 billion.
In 2002, it listed addtional 7.500.000 shares, increasing its charter capital to VND 225 billion.
In 2005, its charter capital was adjusted twice to VND 231.742.740.000 and 281.742.740.000.
In 2006, it listed addtional 5.549.410 shares, increasing its charter capital to VND 337.236.840.000.
