VMK: Payment of 2022 stock Dividend

Viet Nam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) would like to announce the record date as follows:

- Execution rate: 11% (On the record date for exercising rights, shareholders owning 100 shares will receive a dividend of 11 new shares, rounded down to the nearest whole unit).
- Rounding convention, Handling of Fractional Shares: The number of additional shares issued as dividends will be rounded down to the nearest whole unit to ensure that the distributed share quantity does not exceed the total number of shares issued. Any fractional shares (if any) will be canceled and not processed. The new registered capital is based on the actual distributed share quantity.
- Example: On the record date for issuing shares to pay dividends, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 140 shares. In this case, shareholder A will receive an additional 140 * 11% = 15.4 shares. Following the rounding and fractional share handling plan, the number of shares received by shareholder A after rounding is 15 shares, and the fractional shares of 0.4 shares will be canceled.
- Execution venue:
+ The holders whose shares have been deposited will receive dividend at the depository member where they opened depository account.
+ The holders whose shares have not been deposited will complete the dividend reception procedures at Head Office of Vimarko Joint Stock Company. ID cards have to be presented.
Depository members (DMs) and direct account holders (DAHs) are requested to compare the securities holders’ information in the List generated and sent in the form of Certificate of Authorization by VSDC with the information managed by DMs and DAHs then send Confirmation (Form 03/THQ) in the form of Certificate of Authorization on the accuracy of the list of securities holders (For DMs and DAHs who have not completed the connection to VSDC’s terminal-based gateway/ISO-based gateway or where the connection has been disrupted, the Confirmation with Certificate of Authorization shall be sent tothongbaoxacnhan@vsd.vn). In case of rejection due to data errors, DMs and DAHs are requested to send written notice on details of errors for necessary correction.
Deadline for sending confirmation: by 10.30 am, 31/10/2023.
If DMs and DAHs do not send confirmation document by the above deadline, VSDC will consider the list provided to DMs and DAHs by VSDC accurate and confirmed. In case of arising disputes and losses to securities holders, DMs and DAHs will have to bear all the related responsibilities.
DMs are requested to fully inform this notice to each investor who has deposited the above securities at DMs within 3 working days from the date on the notice.
