VMC: Payment of 2022 stock Dividend

Viet Nam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) would like to announce the record date as follows:

- Execution rate: 100:10 (shareholder owning 100 shares will receive 10 new additional shares)
- Rounding convention, Handling of Fractional Shares: Shares issued as dividends to each shareholder will be rounded down to the nearest whole unit. Any fractional shares resulting from rounding (if any) will be canceled and not issued.
Example: On the last registration date for receiving dividends in the form of shares for the year 2022, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 185 shares. With a dividend distribution ratio of 100:10, shareholder A will receive the dividend shares as follows: (185*10)/100 = 18.5 shares. According to the rounding and fractional share handling plan, the number of dividend shares that shareholder Nguyen Van A will receive is 18 shares, and 0.5 fractional shares will be canceled.
- Payment place:
+ The holders whose shares have been deposited will receive dividend at the depository member where they opened depository account.
+ The holders whose shares have not been deposited will complete the dividend reception procedures at Head Office of VIMECO joint stock Company (Lot E9, Pham Hung street, Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi) in work days of the week. ID cards/passports have to be presented.
Depository members (DMs) are requested to compare the securities holders’ information in the List generated and sent in the form of Certificate of Authorization by VSDC with the information managed by DMs then send Confirmation (Form 03/THQ) in the form of Certificate of Authorization on the accuracy of the list of shareholders (For DMs who have not completed the connection to VSDC’s terminal-based gateway/ISO-based gateway or where the connection has been disrupted, the Confirmation with Certificate of Authorization shall be sent to thongbaoxacnhan@vsd.vn). In case of rejection due to data errors, VSDC's members are requested to send written notice on details of errors for necessary correction.
Deadline for sending confirmation: by 10.30 am, 01/11/2023
If DMs do not send confirmation document by the above deadline, VSDC will consider the list provided to DMs and direct account holding members by VSDC accurate and confirmed. In case of arising disputes and losses to shareholders, DMs will have to bear all the related responsibilities.
DMs are requested to fully inform this notice to each investor who has deposited the above shares at DMs within 3 working days from the date on the notice.
