EIC: Notice on maximum foreign ownership rate

On June 11, 2024, EVN International Joint Stock Company received Notice No. 3581/UBCK-PTTT of the State Securities Commission on the dossier announcing the maximum foreign ownership rate of EVN International Joint Stock Company as follows:
The State Securities Commission has received a dossier announcing the maximum foreign holding rate at EVN International Joint Stock Company (the Company) (HNX: EIC) at 0%. The State Securities Commission requests organizations and individuals participating in the process of preparing documents are responsible before the law for the accuracy, truthfulness and completeness of the documents per the regulations of Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020, of the Government of the detailed regulations to implement several articles of the Securities Law (Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP); requests the Company to disclose information on the maximum foreign ownership rate as prescribed in Clause No. 2, Article 13 of Circular No. 96/2020/TT-BTC dated November 16, 2020, of the Minister of Finance, guiding the information disclosure on the securities market, exercising business activities per the scope of business registration and relevant legal regulations to ensure compliance with regulations on the foreign ownership rate on the securities market of Vietnam; requests the Vietnam Securities Depository Corporation to update and adjust the system on the maximum foreign ownership rate at the Company per the regulations of Clause No. 4, Article 142 of Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP.
