On May 21, 2025, the State Securities Commission announced Notice No. 1799/UBCK-PTTT on the dossier announcing the maximum foreign ownership rate of Vinacontrol Group Corporation as follows:
The State Securities Commission has received a dossier announcing the maximum foreign ownership rate at Vinacontrol Group Corporation (the Company) (Listing: VNC) at 0%, fully and validly per the regulations of Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government of the detailed regulations to implement several articles of the Law on Securities (Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP).
The Corporation is requested to disclose information on the maximum foreign ownership rate as prescribed in Section 2 Article 13 of Circular No. 96/2020/TT-BTC dated November 16, 2020 by the Minister of Finance, guiding the information disclosure on the securities market, exercising business activities per the scope of business registration and relevant legal regulations to ensure compliance with regulations on the foreign ownership rate on the securities market of Vietnam.
The Vietnam Securities Depository is requested to update and adjust the system on the maximum foreign ownership rate at the Company per the regulations of Section 4 Article 142 of Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP.
