TPB: Record date for share issuance to raise capital

On June 05, 2023, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Announcement No.1017/TB-SGDHCM about the record date of Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank as follows: -          Ex-right date: June 09, 2023 -          Record date: June 12, 2023 1)      Reason and purpose: to issue the additional shares for capital increase from the owner’s equity 2)      Content: -          Expected issue volume: 619,889,978 shares -          Exercise ratio: 10,000:3.919 (Those who own 10,000 shares will receive 3,919 new shares.) -          Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares (if any) will be cancelled. -          For example: at the record date, shareholder A owns 688 shares. With 39.19% performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 688 *39.19% = 269.62 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A will receive 269 new shares and the fractional shares of 0.62 share will be cancelled. -          Place of implementation: + For deposited securities: Shareholder will implement procedures to receive dividend at the securities company where shareholders opened securities depository account. + For undeposited securities: Shareholder will receive dividend at TPB’s head office on working days. Please present shareholder’s identity card/citizen identity card and Share ownership certificate when receiving dividend at the Head office.
