BSC believes that the Government has shifted its FDI attraction strategy from tax incentives toward a more selective approach, focusing on high-quality FDI projects that involve cooperation and technology transfer. In the short term, this may significantly increase upfront investment costs for industrial park developers, as large FDI investors typically impose stringent requirements on infrastructure and sustainable development However, in the long term, we believe attracting large-scale FDI projects will improve industrial park developers’ ability to hand over land to tenants. In addition, the Government has also introduced supportive measures to facilitate the development of industrial park land banks.
