Market outlook
Stock market: VNIndex soon hit 1200 points from the beginning but could not hold this level and turned down in the afternoon session. Investment cash flow declined and only 6 out of 19 sectors gained. Meanwhile, foreign investors were net sellers on both HSX and HNX. Besides, market breadth turned negative and liquidity increased from the previous session. According to our assessment, the VNIndex is likely to move sideways in the next sessions.
Future contracts: VN30F2101 and VN30F2103 increased while VN30F2102 and VN30F2106 decreased. In terms of open interest position, all future contracts increased. Investors might consider selling with target price around 1180 points for short-term contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on January 13, 2021, majority of underlying securities decreased, while coverred warrants diverged in terms of price. Trading value decreased slightly.
