MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index recorded its fourth consecutive advancing session. By the close, the index settled at 1,772.15 points, rising 21.12 points (+1.21%) compared to the previous session. Despite market breadth remaining negative—with 11 out of 18 sectors declining—the index’s gains were driven by a small number of large-cap stocks, notably VIC, VHM, VRE, and STB. In terms of foreign trading activity, foreign investors posted net buying on the HSX, while recording net selling on the other two exchanges. Toward the end of the session, the market edged slightly lower near the 1,770 resistance level, reflecting a degree of hesitation. Nevertheless, there are no clear signs of a reversal in the prevailing uptrend. Investors are advised to trade cautiously and focus on risk management, particularly as prices approach key resistance levels.
