Stock market: The VN-Index corrected slightly after returning to 1180 points. Investment cash flow flowed out of the market when only 8 out of 19 sectors rose. Liquidity fell slightly and market breadth was negative indicating that short-term profit-taking pressure increased at the resistance level. Foreign investors declined net selling value is limiting the downtrend of the VN-Index. With the current movement trend, VN-Index is likely to consolidates around 1180 points next week.

 

 

Future contracts: Except for VN30F2109, all future contracts decreased following VN30. Investors might consider selling for short-term contracts.  

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on March 12, 2021, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading value increased.

• VN-Index -0.17 points, to close 1,181.56 points. The HNX-Index +0.39 points, to close at 273.91 points.

• Pull the index up: GVR (+1.50), VPB (+0.49), SAB (+0.34), LGC (+0.22), VRE (+0.19)

• Pulling the index down: GAS (-0.82), VCB (-0.50), BCM (-0.36), VNM (-0.34), CTG (-0.25).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 13,213 billion, -2.8% compared to the previous session. The total trading value reached VND 14,582 billion.

• The fluctuation range was 8.38 points, narrowing from the previous session. There were 182 gainers, 55 reference stocks and 280 losers on the market.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -243.77 billion on HOSE, including VNM (VND -57.6 billion), VCB (VND -54.6 billion), and DGW (VND -48.0 billion). Foreigners were net sellers on the HNX with the value of VND -1.09 billion.
