 'Market outlook  

Stock market: The market opened around the reference threshold before a tsunami swept the index away. Despite struggling efforts at the beginning of the afternoon session, VN-Index continued to be dragged back to around 1500. The most ravaged by the wave was Real Estate and Construction stocks with many stocks dropping sharply. Besides, the trio of Bank, Securities, and Steel were also swept away. Market breadth tilted to the negative side with 16 out of 19 sectors dropping. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they were net sellers on both HSX and HNX. In the coming sessions, it is likely that the market will return to the support zone of 1480. Investors should be careful in the next trading sessions.
 
Future contracts: Futures futures dropped in line with the movement of the VN30. Investors should watch out for short-term futures contracts.
 
Covered warrants: In the trading session on April 7, 2022, warrants fell sharply in line with the movement of the underlying stock.
 
Highlights:
• VN-Index -20.55 points, closing at 1502.35 points. HNX-Index -5.22 points, closing at 441.61 points.
• Pulling the index up: MBB (+0.34), DGC (+0.28), ACB (+0.28), DPM (+0.27), DCM (+0.22).
• Pulling the index down: VCB (-1.90), VHM (-1.42), VIC (-0.96), MSN (-0.83), NVL (-0.82).
• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 25.314 billion, down -11.82% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 27.145 billion.
• The trading range is 22.57 points. The market had 89 advancers, 42 reference stocks and 372 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -526.53 billion on HOSE, including VHM (VND -87.72 billion), HPG (VND -85.30 billion), STB (VND -72.40 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -9.12 billion.
