BSC Brief | 28.07: Liquidity supports the market’s uptrend

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index rose by more than 26 points today, closing at 1,557.42. Market breadth was positive, with 17 out of 18 sectors advancing. Financial Services led the gains with an increase of over 5%, followed by Industrial Goods & Services and Construction & Materials. On the other hand, the Oil & Gas sector posted only a slight and insignificant decline. In terms of foreign trading, net selling was recorded on the HSX and UPCOM, while net buying occurred on the HNX. Market liquidity supported the index’s uptrend. The VN-Index still has momentum to continue reaching new highs.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1048.52 billion on HOSE, including HPG (VND -417.73 billion), FPT (VND -149.81 billion), GVR (VND -106.00 billion), VIX (VND -104.85 billion), SSI (VND -103.29 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 107.59 billion.
