BSC Brief 29.05. Buying and selling forces remained in balance throughout the session

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the 1,851–1,874 range throughout the session before closing at 1,863.49 points, virtually unchanged from the previous day. Nine out of eighteen sectors declined, with Media posting the steepest loss. On the other hand, the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors recorded solid gains. Regarding foreign flows, investors recorded net selling on HSX and HNX, while net buying was observed on UPCOM. The Doji candlestick, with upper and lower shadows of similar length, suggests that market indecision continues to dominate trading activity. Investors are advised to remain cautious until clearer signals of an upward or downward reversal emerge.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -703.05 billion on HOSE, including CTG (VND -92.95 billion), VHM (VND -81.28 billion), VPB (VND -71.28 billion), ACB (VND -68.26 billion), SZC (VND -59.50 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -49.76 billion.
