Summary

Increasing in most of the session, yet the selling pressure became stronger in the afternoon that made the indices fall sharply, closing in the red. The number of losers increased compared with the previous trading session. The highlight of the day is the resurgence of oil and gas stocks despite oil price plunging. Foreigners were net sellers on the HSX, mainly in VIC, PVD and CTD. On HNX and UPCOM, they were net sellers with a negligible value.

Recommendation

The VN-Index is fluctuating around the 560, and is expected to move around this area. Investors should carefully observe the market, reducing the proportion in the rally and buying back in the down session.
