 Highlights

• VN-Index fluctuated, then increased in the morning session. The Index increased slightly in the afternoon session.

• The leaders were GAS (+0.83 points); VNM (+0.59 points); MSN (+0.36 points); TCB (+0.27 points); SAB (+0.14 points).

• The laggards were CTG (-1.10 points); HPG (-0.59 points); VRE (-0.59 points); VJC (-0.42 points); VCB (-0.33 points).

• Cash flow focused on Rubber and Service stocks, liquidity decreased.

• The trading value of VN-Index in today session was VND 2,795.7 billion. The trading range was 6.75 points. The market recorded 117 gainers and 167 decliners.

• By the ending of the session, VN-Index decreased by 2.7 points, closing at 955.89 points. At the same time, HNX-Index also decreased by 0.32 points to 106.82 points.

• Foreign investors today net bought VND 41.12 billion on HOSE, focusing on VNM (VND 57.86 billion), BID (VND 21.88 billion) and MSN (VND 9.59 billion). At the same time, they net sold  VND 6.62 billion on HNX.

Market outlook 

In the morning session, VN-Index fluctuated and decreased with the selling forces appeared in Banking stocks such as VCB, CTG, BID and TCB and some blue-chips such as VHM, VIC, HPG. In the afternoon session, the index decreased, but the downward momentum was decreased thanks to buying forces appeared in some large-cap stocks such as GAS, VNM, MSN, SAB; and TCB turned to a strong buy. Foreigners were net bought. In view of BSC, the VN-Index had a low liquidity and the market is as the same as the regional market, the MSCI index decreased by 1.2% and HNG increased in the session as the ETF FTSE added HNG into their portfolio.
