Market outlook
Stock market: The uptrend was maintained in today's session, causing the market to return to the threshold of 1350 points. Investment cash flow spread into the market when 7/19 industry groups moved positively compared to the previous session. The industry groups that helped the market gain points are: Financial services, Utilities and Banking. Market breadth turned positive with reduced liquidity compared to the previous session. Meanwhile, foreign investors were net buyers on both HSX and HNX. Although the market rallied back to the threshold of 1350 points, the fact that the liquidity is still at a low level shows that the uptrend is not solid yet. VN-Index is likely to maintain the cumulative movement around 1350 points in the next trading sessions.
Future contracts: All future contracts increased following VN30. Investors might consider buying for short-term contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on October 5, 2021, majority of underlying securities increased, while coverred warrants diverged in terms of price. Trading value increased slightly.
