Market outlook

Stock market: The market struggled throughout the day, finally ending the session down more than 3 points compared to the previous session. Market breadth was quite balanced with 8 out of 19 sectors gaining, in which the strongest gain belonged to the Financial Services industry. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they net sold on both HSX and HNX. Trading volume continued to remain low. In the next few sessions, VN-Index may still trade around 1200.

Future contracts: The futures contracts mostly dropped according to the movement of the VN30 index. It is recommended that investors consider short-term trading during the session.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on July 4, 2022, warrants decreased according to the movement of the underlying stock.

VN-Index -3.37 points, closing at 1195.53 points. HNX-Index 2.31 points, closing at 281.19 points.
Pulling the index up: VIB (+0.88), VNM (+0.75), MBB(+0.39), TCB (+0.31), LPB (+0.22).
Pulling the index down: MWG (-0.89), GAS (-0.66), HPG (-0.58), DGC (-0.51), VHM (-0.43).
The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 8.923 billion, down 15.23% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 10.087 billion.
The trading range is 16.33 points. The market had 228 advancers, 66 reference stocks and 219 losers.
Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -131.16 billion on HOSE, including MWG (VND -80.64 billion), HPG (VND -30.98 billion), NVL (VND -29.15 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -1.66 billion.
