20220715_BSC_Vietnam Daily Review_A slight correction

Stock market: After a short recovery, VN-Index corrected slightly today, almost unchanged compared to the previous session. Market breadth skewed to the negative side with 12/17 sectors dropping, in which Insurance sector had the biggest drop; On the other hand, the Basic Resources sector had a positive session. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they were net sellers on both HSX and HNX. In the coming sessions, the market is expected to test the 1200 level.

 

Future contracts: The futures contracts mostly dropped according to the movement of the VN30 index. It is recommended that investors consider short-term trading during the session.

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on July 15, 2022, warrants decreased according to the movement of the underlying stock.

 

• VN-Index -2.92 points, closing at 1179.25 points. HNX-Index -0.36 points, closing at 284.4 points.

• Pulling the index up: HPG (+1.53), VPB (+0.22), VSH(+0.17), TCB (+0.13), MSB (+0.10).

• Pulling the index down:  GAS (-0.62), MSN (-0.46), BID (-0.44), VNM (-0.41), MWG (-0.40).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 11,379 billion, up 14.72% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 13,116 billion.

• The trading range is 11.54 points. The market had 215 advancers, 68 reference stocks and 233 losers.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -496.86 billion on HOSE, including FUEVFVND (VND -260.48 billion), UIC (VND -66.29 billion), DXG (VND -40.77 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -8.98 billion.
