Market outlook

Stock market: After a day of fluctuating within a large range of 1,025-1,045, VN-Index finally ended the session sideways compared to yesterday with a slight decrease in liquidity. Market breadth was quite balanced with 7/19 sectors gaining. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they sold more than VND 3.1 trillion on the HSX, in which the strongest net sold was EIB with a net selling value of VND 3.03 trillion. In the short term, the market is likely to struggle sessions in the range 1,025-1,035 points.

Future contracts: All contracts decreased according to VN30. Investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on October 28, 2022, coverred warrants fluctuated along with the struggling movement of the underlying stocks.

Highlights:

• VN-Index -0.65 points, closing at 1027.36. HNX-Index +0.11 points, closing at 213.73.

• Pulling the index up: MVN (+1.46), BRR (+0.29), DSC (+0.25), SJG (+0.15), SGB (+0.13).

• Pulling the index down: VGI (-1.62), BSR (-1.31), MCH (-1.11), MSR (-0.44), TID (-0.39).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 8,668 billion, decreased -9.06% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 13,345 billion.

• The trading range is 18.04 points. The market had 236 advancers, 86 reference stocks, 195 decliners.
