Market outlook:

Stock market: The VN-Index increased from the opening; however, it faced selling pressure at the level of 1,075 and maintained a downward trend almost all day before closing at 1,065.35 points, down slightly over 4 points compared to yesterday. The market breadth tilted towards negativity with 13 out of 19 sectors experiencing a decline, led by the Basic Resources and Auto & Parts sectors. In terms of foreign trading activities, today they net sold on the HSX and slightly net bought on the HNX. The short-term correction after the previous uptrend is showing signs of slowing down at the support level of 1,065. In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to consolidate around this level.

Future contracts: Futures contracts decrease in line with the movement of VN30. It is recommended that investors trade cautiously in the coming sessions.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on April 10, 2023, covered warrants fluctuated along with the correction of the underlying stocks.

Highlights:

• VN-Index -4.36 points, closing at 1065.35. HNX-Index +0.4 points, closing at 212.

• Pulling the index up: MWG (+0.73), TCB (+0.57), SHB (+0.31), KBC (+0.26), POW (+0.18).

• Pulling the index down: BID (-1.2), VCB (-1.19), VHM (-0.98), GAS (-0.82), HPG (-0.73).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 13,080 billion, increased 36.89% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 15,056 billion.

• The trading range is 12.09 points. The market had 173 advancers, 58 reference stocks, 125 decliners.
