BSC Brief | 03.10: Cautious market trading

MARKET OUTLOOK
VN-Index continued to decline by nearly 7 points today, closing at 1,645.82. Market breadth skewed negative with 16 out of 18 sectors losing ground, led by Oil & Gas, while Real Estate and Information Technology recorded positive sessions. Regarding foreign investor activity, net selling persisted across all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. The index closed below the SMA10 and SMA20, accompanied by a notable drop in liquidity during the recent sideways consolidation phase, reflecting cautious market sentiment. In addition, the index has yet to break above the upper channel. The next support zone lies at 1,600–1,610.

All futures contracts rose, moving in the opposite direction of the VN30 Index.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1221.68 billion on HOSE, including MWG (VND -261.60 billion), STB (VND -187.57 billion), CTG (VND -125.89 billion), VHM (VND -116.58 billion), SHB (VND -96.66 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -86.45 billion.
