Market outlook
The VN-Index today continued to fluctuate around the 1,270 level and closed at 1,271.98 points, remaining flat compared to yesterday. Market breadth was fairly balanced, with 10 out of 18 sectors gaining, led by the Basic Resources sector, which rose nearly 2%. On the other hand, the Retail sector led the declines, followed by the Automobile and Auto Parts sectors,... Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors recorded a slight net sell on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. Trading range has shown signs of narrowing. The VN-Index may continue to consolidate at this level in the short term.
