BSC Brief | 27.10: VN-Index declined sharply at the end of the session

MARKET OUTLOOK
The VN-Index fluctuated within the range of 1,665–1,700 before sharply declining at the end of the session, closing at 1,652.54 points. Market breadth leaned negative, with 11 out of 18 sectors declining. The Retail sector led the gains, followed by Real Estate, while on the other hand, Chemicals and Insurance recorded positive trading sessions. Regarding foreign investor activity, there was net selling across all three exchanges — HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. In the upcoming sessions, the market may continue to retreat toward the 1,625-point level. Investors are advised to trade cautiously.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1117.64 billion on HOSE, including SSI (VND -578.17 billion), MBB (VND -445.75 billion), MWG (VND -89.70 billion), VCI (VND -86.08 billion), PDR (VND -57.97 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -78.74 billion.
