BSC Brief | 06.11: VN-Index is seeking equilibrium

MARKET OUTLOOK
Today, the VN-Index showed a mixed and declining performance. By the end of the session, the index closed at 1,642.64 points, down more than 12 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth was negative, with 14 out of 18 sectors posting losses. The Financial Services, Travel & Leisure, and Oil & Gas sectors experienced the sharpest declines. On the other hand, the Healthcare and Construction & Materials sectors recorded slight gains. Regarding foreign investor activity, there was net selling across all three exchanges — HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. The market’s movements indicate that an accumulation phase is currently taking place.

• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 16,948 billion, decreased -8.39% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 17,903 billion.
• The trading range is 20.57 points. The market had 131 gainers, 58 remaining unchanged, 176 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1062.25 billion on HOSE, including STB (VND -179.57 billion), VPB (VND -102.40 billion), HPG (VND -89.04 billion), GEX (VND -71.76 billion), TCB (VND -67.37 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -67.56 billion.
