Market outlook
The VN-Index surged at the open and traded around the 1,290 level. By the end of the session, the VN-Index closed at 1,286.36 points, continuing to rise by more than 4 points compared to the previous day. The number of declining stocks exceeded the number of advancing ones, with 11 out of 18 sectors gaining, indicating a divergence in cash flow. Regarding foreign transactions, today foreign investors recorded net buying on the HSX exchange and net selling on the HNX exchange. The VN-Index is currently continuously returning to old resistance levels; however, low liquidity suggests risks. Investors should trade with caution in the upcoming sessions.
