Market outlook
The VN-Index traded within the range of 1,285 to 1,290 for most of the day before falling to close at 1,280.02, down more than 5 points compared to the previous session. The market breadth was negative, with 16 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Consumer Goods & Household sector. Conversely, the Real Estate and Financial Services sectors had a positive trading session. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors were net sellers on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. The accumulation trend within the 1,280 to 1,285 range still shows no signs of ending.
