Market outlook
The VN-Index traded within the 1,280 range throughout the day before closing at 1,280.56 points, remaining unchanged compared to yesterday. Market breadth leaned towards the negative with 12 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Media, followed by the Financial Services. On the other hand, the Real Estate saw the strongest gains, with the Oil and Gas also experiencing a positive trading session. Regarding foreign trading, there was net selling on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. The market is likely to continue moving sideways in the short term until a directional candlestick appears with supportive trading volume.
