Highlights:
• The market fluctuated strongly with diversifications among stock sector.
• The leaders were BVH (+1.12 points), BID (+0.93 points), ROS (+0.93 points), NVL (+0.87 points) and VJC (+0.81 points).
• The laggards were VNM (-2.59 points), VCB (-1.44 points), VPB (-0.76 points), VRE (-0.69 points) và VIC (-0.67 points).
• Blue chips were heavily diversified with the decrease in Banking, Real Estate and Oil Sectors. 
• The order matching value of VN-Index today was VND 3,753 billion. The trading rage was 15.04 points. The market recorded 114 gainers and 163 losers.
• Ending the trading session today, VN-index decreased 1.81 points, closing at 1060.45 points. Moreover, HNX-Index decreased 1.22 points to 126.33 points.
• Foreign investors were net sellers of VND 164.49 billion on HOSE with VIC (87.6 billion), VCB (50.1 billion) and VNM (44.7 billion). At the same time, they net sold VND 31.4 billion on HNX.
Market outlook:
The trading opened with positive sentiment. However, the bank unexpectedly fluctuated against the positive signal yesterday. In contrast, many stocks still maintained the increase such as ROS, VJC, BVH ... causing the market to reverse continuously and fluctuate around the reference level. At the end of the session, the weak demand was not able to prevent the large cap stocks’ decrease, especially VNM, pulling the market down. BSC commented that the market is still in a state of uncertainty when May is the month of information shortage. Investors should hold stocks and rotate their portfolios when there is a positive signal.
