Market outlook
The VN-Index traded within the 1,250 – 1,260 range throughout the day before closing at 1,256.35 points, up slightly by more than 3 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth leaned positive with 10 out of 18 sectors gaining, led by the Information Technology sector, followed by Chemicals, Banking, and others. On the downside, the Basic Resources and Oil & Gas sectors declined. In terms of foreign transactions, foreign investors were net sellers on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. In the coming sessions, the VN-Index may continue to move sideways around the 1,255 level to seek a balance point.
