Market outlook
VN-Index traded within the 1,250 – 1,260 range throughout the day and ended the session at 1,251.71 points, down nearly 5 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth leaned negative with 9 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Media and Utilities sectors. On the other hand, the Automotive & Parts and Construction & Materials sectors posted the strongest gains. Regarding foreign transactions, foreign investors were net sellers on the HSX and slightly net buyers on the HNX today. The market is still in the process of finding a balance point after the recent correction, so investors should trade cautiously in the upcoming sessions.
