Market outlook 
The market had a fluctuating session from morning to afternoon with the main impact coming from Bluechips stocks. Market liquidity decreased along with a narrow fluctuation range, signaling conservative sentiment in the market. The trading status of the VN-Index is in alignment with the majority of markets in the region as investors pay close attention to US-China trade negotiations. In addition, the draft securities law does not cause much controversy will be positive news for the enactment of the law. Thus, creating favorable conditions for Vietnam in the process of market upgrading next year. The cautious trading sentiment is expected to continue until there are more positive information in National Assembly meetings or international news.

Future contracts:
Future contracts diverged in term of price. VN30F1911 and VN30F2003 increased while VN30F1912 and VN30F2006 decreased. Investors should prioritize buying with target price around 930 points for long-term contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on October 23, 2019, majority of coverred warrants increased following underlying securities. Trading volume decreased.

• Foreign net selling value: VND 8.92 billion on HOSE, including ROS (VND 17.0 billion), VJC (VND 14.9 billion) and VJC (VND 14.2 billion). Foreigners were net sellers on the HNX with a value of VND 10.5 billion.
