Market outlook
In the morning, VN-Index tried to recover to 1,020 points when the groups of BID, VIC, VCB, GAS, and SAB agreed to increase. Although maintaining the green in the afternoon, the index's gaining momentum slowed down when VNM and VHM recorded corrections. The market recovered slightly in sync with other key stock markets in the region. In the context that VN-Index has improved in points but has not yet conquered the high resistance level of 1,020 points, BSC maintains that the index will continue moving within the price range around this level before returning to the uptrend. . For the time being, information on trade war will still partly dominate investor sentiment.
Future contracts: All future contracts decreased following VN30. Investors should prioritize selling and buying back with target price around 935 points for short-term contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on November 12, 2019, majority of coverred warrants decreased, in contrast with underlying securities. Trading volume increased strongly. VIC had a downward adjustment after failing to surpass resistance at 122.50. Liquidity increased, confirming signal for short-term adjustment according to momentum indicators. Downward movement of VIC could create downward pressure on its warrants in the coming sessions.
