Market outlook 
Positive movement in both morning and afternoon sessions, VN-Index recorded a slight recovery. Blue-chips, such as HPG, VPB, VNM, CTG, and BID, gained well, helping the index once again come back to close to 968 points. The market moved in the same direction with other major stock markets in the region thanks to more positive US-China trade information. Accordingly, the United States removed China from the list of currency manipulation countries. Vietnam has not been marked as a currency manipulation country but remains on the watchlist. The liquidity in the market also recovered after the previous strong drop, showing that the positive sentiment is gradually returning to the mark

Future contracts: Future contracts all gained today in accordance with the overall status of the index. Investors should prioritize buying with target price around 890 points for long-term contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on January 14th 2020, most of covered warrants and underlying securities were differentiated by status. Trading volume decreased compared to the previous session.

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 2,184 billion, + 14.5% compared to the previous session.
• The trading band is 3.04 points, narrowing sharply compared to the previous session. The market has 155 gainers, 63 reference codes and 163 losers.
• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 244.78 billion on HOSE, including HPG (VND 288.2 bil), VNM (VND 11.8 bil) và SCS (VND 10.09 bil). Foreigners were net buyers on the HNX with a value of VND 0.87 billion.
