Detailed report

Market outlook
The opening session of Lunar new year takes place mainly in red. VN-Index dropped sharply in both morning and afternoon session, in agreement with the downtrend of most of the world's major stock markets. Concerns about the outbreak of Corona virus negatively affected investor sentiment, leading to the index closing session with a deep decline of 3.2%. Market breadth was completely tilted toward selling side with 274 losers. In addition to the strong selling pressure of blue-chips, VN-Index also became differentiated when Aviation, Transportation sector with HVN, VJC, GMD, PVT,... all recorded a sharp decline, while the Health sector kept the green.

Future contracts: All future contracts decreased following VN30. Investors should prioritize buying with target price around 910 points for long-term contracts.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on Jannuary 30, 2019, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading volume increased strongly.
