Stock market: The market traded positively after the slight correction of the previous session. Investment cash flow increased again compared to the previous session when 14 out of 19 sectors gained. Foreign investors continued to be net buyers on the HSX while being net sellers on the HNX. Declining market liquidity, positive market breadth and narrow market amplitude show signs of positive sentiment returning to the market. The VN-Index might retest the 920-point level in the next few sessions. Investors can consider increasing the proportion of good fundamental stocks in their portfolio.

 

Future contracts: All future contracts increased following VN30. Investors might consider selling with target price around 835 points for long-term contracts. 

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on September 23, 2020, majority of coverred warrants increased following underlying securities. Trading value increased strongly.

• VN-Index +6.31 points to close at 912.50 points. HNX-Index +0.45 points, closing 132.64 points.

• Pulling the index up: VCB (+1.45); BID (+0.79); VHM (+066); CTG (+0.47); PLX (+0.44).

• Pulling the index down: VNM (-0.19); GVR (-0.17); VIC (-0.09); PDR (-0.09); TTA (-0.06).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 5,494 billion, -10.8% compared to the previous session.

• The fluctuation range was 4.55 points, narrowing compared to the previous session. There were 250 gainers, 53 unchange and 161 losers.

• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 125.10 billion on HOSE, including VRE (VND 53.97 billion), VCB (VND 33.50 billion) and FUEVFVND (VND 31.09 billion). Foreigners were net sellers on the HNX with the value of VND -9.11 billion.
