20200929_BSC_Vietnam Daily Review_EN_Selling pressure increased strongly in the afternoon session _TA_VNM_Breakout

Stock market: VNIndex continued to maintain the gaining momentum of the previous sessions while staying in green during the morning session. However, selling pressure increased sharply in the afternoon session pushed the index moved below 905 points. Investment cash flow declined when only 4 out of 19 sectors gained. Meanwhile, foreign investors continued to net sell strongly on both HSX and HNX. Market liquidity increased highly, while market breadth was in a negative status, showing that traders are taking profits at the moment. According to our assessment, VN-Index can still maintain above 900 points in the next sessions and there will be a struggle in the area of 900-910 points.

 

Future contracts: All future contracts decreased following VN30. Investors might consider selling with target price around 840 points for long-term contracts. 

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on September 29, 2020, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading value increased strongly.

• Pulling the index down: VCB (-1.47); VIC (-1.25); VHM (-1.21); BID (-0.74); CTG (-0.58).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 7,755 billion, +23.53% compared to the previous session.

• Amplitude is 13.51 points. The market has 128 gainers, 60 reference codes and 281 losers.

• Foreign net-selling value: VND -594.11 billion on HOSE, including VNM (VND -176.1 billion), VHM (VND -79.3 billion) and VIC (VND -46.5 billion). Foreigners were net sellers on the HNX with a value of VND -45.09 billion.
