Stock market: VN-Index had a session in green throughout the trading time and had a few minutes to try to surpass the threshold of 1000 points but still could not break out successfully. Investment cash flow improved with 8 out of 19 sectors gaining points. Meanwhile, foreign investors returned to be net sellers on the HSX and net buyers on the HNX. Besides, market breadth was in equilibrium and liquidity decreased compared to the previous session. In our opinion, VN-Index will continue to challenge the threshold of 1000 points in the next few sessions, but it will not be easy to escape from this resistance.

 

Future contracts: All future contracts decreased in contrast with VN30. Investors might consider selling with target price around 940 points for long-term contracts. 

 

Covered warrants: In the trading session on November 25, 2020, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading value increased strongly.

• Pulling up the index: VIC (+1.9); VCB (+1.35); SAB (+0.74); VPB (+0.7); VNM (+0.64).

• Pulling the index down: HPG (-1.85); LGC (-0.21); VCG (-0.15); PDR (-0.13); BVH (-0.1).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 9,142 billion, -16.44% compared to the previous session.

• Amplitude is 5.51 points. The market has 205 gainers, 71 reference codes and 221 losers.

• Foreign net-selling value: VND -162.77 billion on HOSE, including HPG (VND -182.3 billion), HDB (VND -32.3 billion) and VHM (VND -28.2 billion). Foreigners were net buyers on the HNX with a value of 24.82 billion dong.
