Market outlook
The VN-Index climbed to the 1,270 level during the morning session before being pushed down by profit-taking pressure, closing at 1,264.9, up nearly 6 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth leaned positive, with 12 out of 18 sectors gaining, led by the Tourism & Entertainment sector, followed by Retail and Financial Services. Regarding foreign transactions, foreign investors were net buyers on both the HSX and HNX exchanges today. In the upcoming sessions, in a positive scenario, the VN-Index is expected to accumulate around the 1,265 level to build momentum for a breakout.
