20210818_BSC_Vietnam Daily Review_A slight correction_ HAX_Positive signal

Stock market: VN-Index maintained a struggling trend around 1360 points in today's session. Investment cash flow flowed into the market when 10/19 industry groups gained with the spearhead coming from Insurance and securities stocks. Market breadth remained negative with a slight decrease in liquidity compared to the previous session. Meanwhile, foreign investors continued to be strong net sellers on both HNX and HSX. Although the market corrects to the support range 1350-1360 points, the current market high liquidity will strengthen the supportive force at this range.

 

Future contracts:  Except for VN30F2112, all future contracts decreaed following VN30. Investors might consider selling for short-term contracts.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on August 18, 2021, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading value decreased.

• VN-Index -2.15 points, closing at 1360.94. HNX-Index +1.71, closed at 344.82.

• Pulling the index up: MSN (+0.63); VNM (+0.39); MWG(+0.33); REE(+0.33); BVH(+0.22).

• Pulling the index down: VIC (-0.91); VHM(-0.90); VPB (-0.73); TCB(-0.47); BID (-0.32).

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 21,840 billion, -10.8% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached 24,407 billion VND.

• The fluctuation range is 14.67 points. The market had 172 advancers, 43 unchange and 197 decliners.

• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1886.13 billion on HOSE, including VHM (VND -444.04 billion), FUEVFVND (VND -301.4 billion) and SSI (VND -267.8 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -41.62 billion.
