Market outlook  

Stock market:  The market struggled in today's trading session. Investment cash flow flowed into the market when 13/19 industries gained. The groups limiting the market's decline are: Utilities, Construction and materials, and Chemicals. The market liquidity decreased slightly and the market breadth was neutral, showing the cautious sentiment of investors. Meanwhile, foreign investors returned to net selling on both exchanges. VN-Index is still moving in a narrow range when the investment cash flow is diverging according to the third quarter business results.
 
Future contracts:  All future contracts decreased following VN30. Investors might consider selling for short-term contracts.
 
Covered warrants: In the trading session on September 29, 2021, majority of coverred warrants decreased following underlying securities. Trading value decreased strongly.

• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 15,220 billion, down 6% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 17,235 billion.
• The fluctuation range is 13 points. The market had 191 advancers, 44 unchange stocks and 210 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -511.03 billion on HOSE, including HPG (VND -105.75 billion), CTG (VND -45 billion), NVL (VND -44.09 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -20.34 billion.
